Has anyone else run into fuel starvation issues in a left hand turn on track?

My car drives fine on the street or right hand corners but as soon as the g's start to build in left hand turns at the track the engine dies and then takes off again after the turn. If the tank is full no problem however as the level drops the problem starts and gets progresivly worse.

I've stuffed half the tank with fuel foam/brick which didn't seem to help much. Now I'm looking at getting a fuel cell with a collector in it.
