Default A few random Questions

I am almost done with my swap and was looking for a set of heads. I may boost in the future and was looking at 185 and such. Any recomendations. I was looking at AFR's and Edelbrock has a new set of E-205's that look nice. Also looking at getting into SCCA racing what section and class do most v8 miata guys race in as I know spec I would be out. Thanks

I have been running the Trick Flow Twisted Wedge heads for years. I have the ones with the wire lock groove for the special Fel-pro head gaskets. Also using ARP head studs. No issues at 12 psi of boost.

Are you running stock cubes? If so, a 185-190 would be more than enough. Anything more than that you will be leaving alot on the table unless you are going to seriously spin your motor in the RPM's. If you are looking to boost in the future, AFR 185's are good. You would most likely make more than enough power for the traction available. If you are cost concious, Patriot performance sells a good head for what it sounds like you are wanting to do.
