Do I need to keep any wiring besides the engine harness and the fuel injector harness
Almost ready to pull the engine out of the SN95 Ive got, but I want to make sure I don't need anymore wiring from it. Got the computer, all the wires hooked up to that, and the injector harness. Do I need the fuse block or anything else? Ill be ordering the Monster Miata manual next week when I get paid. Im sure that will also be a huge help.
Also, one more quick question. Ive got a computer from an auto. Will it work without a chip? IIRC the auto computer will pull timing when it thinks it needs to shift.

If you are planning on scraping the Mustang, I suggest that you pull ALL of the wiring out that you can. You would be surprised how handy all of those in-line connectors can be. Remember that you can use the pins out of the connectors to configure them as needed for your needs so at least get all of the pigtails. Also be sure you have the connectors for the alternator. Save all of the plastic harness conduit as well.
The SN95 ECU will most likely need to be reprogrammed. I have the same one that I plan to install in my car one day. My FOX ECU already has a SCT chip in it.

I do plan on selling it for parts though, possibly as a roller if I can get my hands on the title so Id like to keep it somewhat complete.
I did pull the console for my racing simulator cockpit though. Considering using the dash. Lol
