5.0 Pulley Solution

The engine going in my Ford Miata is 1994-95 based with a short cover (no mech fuel pump) and a short reversed waterpump. I will have just the crank, WP and altenator on a serp belt. I need a altenator mounting solution for this configuration. Does anyone make a solution for this problem?

Thank you.

It may just be the angle that the last picture was taken from, but your alternator appears to be sitting pretty high.

There are some pictures here: http://www.cardomain.com/ride/288493...ta-mx-5/page-3 from when I was making my cowl hood, that show some of the "high spots" on the engine. Although the Kenne Bell kit relocates the a/c compressor & raises the throttle body, the alternator & belt tensioned are in the stock location.

it's the mustang 1995 bracket, just trim it and change the idler pulley the alternator is not that high...

That looks much better than the set up in my car.
I'm just not reading right though i guess, what bracket is it that the idler is mounted on? From an explorer motor or a 1995 mustang or aftermarket?
Thanks

it's from the mustang, both of them are from the mustang... just remove all the extra part for the PS, AC and Smoog pump. The idler pulley is from the explorer (you need a ribbed one).
