Anyone got an old top header or even just the latches lying around ? I want to make a bikini top.

 

a guy 'round here runs with one. I wanted to build one badly as I love bikini tops on my Jeep and the one on that Miata was just plain cool. Only issue is I don't fit under it. ...even with the seat shaved. I never envied shorter people till now...

 

Maybe you could sew on a Gurney bubble.

Well I had another thought on this I am digging into. Seems to me it would make more sense to just put a zipper in the back window of my top. The hold Jeeps together with velcro these days so it couldn't be too hard to put one in.

 

My top has a zippered rear window. I'm not a fan due to how the air flows and whips in the car. Plus there's so much coverage it's really just a windows down experience.
