Just an FYI since you are in the socialist state of California than many of the Miata V8 conversions cannot get emissions certifications in California.
It narrows your choice down quite a bit.
Not absolutely sure but I remember reading that the Miata needs to be 25 years old or older to be emissions exempt in your state.

Arlen Ness Lowliner
The bike is as comes from Arlen Ness when new with exception of upgraded Baker RSD 6-speed transmission. Less than 12K miles with all services performed annually.
124" S&S motor, Ness Primary, Y2K rubberount frame, 63mm inverted forks, LED's for all lighting and digital dash.
This bike is beautiful in every way with Scorpio alarm, custom cover and passenger pad.
Needs nothing but new home due to wrist injury.

Everything is either paint, powder coat or chrome.
This bike is in awesome shape with new: tires, battery, fluids (including brakes) and drive belt...only changed due to age not wear
