Cause of booster seats



Booster seats are an in between remedy for kids that have outgrown car seats, but are still under 4 feet 9 inches tall. These boosters help raise kids up and keep seat belts positioned correctly on their bodies. If children wear seat belts without a booster seat, then the improperly placed belt can trigger severe internal and external injuries.



Booster seat use



Published in the journal Pediatrics, a study recently considered booster seat use by parents. Seventy-six percent of parents do use booster seats for their 4 to 8 year old kids when they are driving in their own automobiles. When children are at that age and are being transported in carpools or in vehicles not belonging to their parents, then booster seat use drops considerably. Only 79 percent of moms and dads ask if the person transporting their children even have booster seats. Half of moms and dads do not make their children use booster seats when there are other children in the car that do not have booster seats.

The importance of boosters



There are many reasons to make sure children are always in booster seats. One of these is that car accidents cause the majority of the deaths that happen to children ages 3 to 14. Children in car accidents without a booster seat had severe injuries typically. There are some solutions to putting money into a lot of booster seats though. There are cars that you are able to buy with build-in booster seats for people who are driving small children a lot. In case you are not that dedicated to the cause, you can get inflatable booster seats that are effortlessly stored in the trunk.
