wiring frustration 2003 nb miata RHD - blue connector under dash

3 Attachment(s)
ok so my nb must be different (duh its RHD)

ok so i am trying to wire up my megasquirt to the oem blue connector - i have seen it called x16

i want to get the ecu power from it - use the oem mazda ecu fuse
tach from ecu to cluster
coolant temp from oem sensor to cluster
oil pressure from sensor to oem gauge in cluster
check engine light
fuel pump relay
vss

etc etc

i dont really want to remove the dash hood as its brittle as hell and parts like that are really expenisve to get down here and besides the oem ecu used that connector so why not the megasuirt
but heres the rub and why i might just have to do it old school - none of the wiring diagrams match up - colours are different - heres the blue conector and some labels i have made up based on wire colours and then using a lhd car diagram i have put the lables on the wires in the places where those colours would be on the lhd car - i am suspecting this is going to let some smoke out so i am nervous......

any help on this ? or what am i doing wrong ? i seem to have a mental block on this.....missing the obvious.....

and my connector has way more wires than the diagrams i have found

im not sure on your specific situation but why not probe to find the wire that has 12v in on and start? Just run an inline fuse which I believe MS calls for 2amp.

hi - thats the easy part - its all the other wires that dont correspond to colour to the same pin as depicted elsewhere

does anyone have a clue on this ?

my blue connector seems to have double the wires and only like 2 of the colours match in the same location - do i go by colour or pin ?

does anyone have the pinouts of each wires function ?
on the blue connector - that will really help
