Default Wiring Fan Relays

Wiring up my harness. I am wiring the thermoswitch to trip 2 relays, one for each fan. I have one relay powered from the AD Fan fuse. The wire for it was an easy to locate Blue/yellow wire coming off a connector on the bottom of the fuseblock. The other fan- I want to use the actual cooling fan fuse. The fused side of this circuit powers the integrated fan relay which I am bypassing. I cannot locate a wire coming out of the fuseblock that is directly connected to the fuse. I tried to disassemble the fuseblock, the snaps open and the bottom part that houses all the terminals for the connectors does come apart slightly, but there are other wires in there that are quite tight and as I try to pull it apart I'm tugging on these other wires. I can see that there is a small black/red wire from the fuse that feeds the relay. I'd like to tap into this wire to feed my new relay. Anyone know how to safely get this thing apart. My alternatives are to stick a spade connector into the "incoming" of the integrated relay terminal, or to use a fused supply from the main tap. I'd rather keep things tidy by using the existing fuse. Any tips, hints suggestions or otherwise?
Cheers. Brad

Cooling fans tend to draw a lot of amps. Knowing this, I did away with all of the tiny gauge wire running them. I wired both fans together through a hefty Ford fan relay that has power supplied from a fusible link & is triggered by the thermal switch, but can also be overridden by a toggle switch mounted on the dash. Another relay was used to turn the fans on during operation of the a/c that is triggered by the a/c clutch.

Ya, that's more or less what I'm doing, except running a separate relay for each fan. I got it figured out. was able to disassemble the fuse block a bit more to grab the wire I needed. Cold weather here makes the wires real stiff to work on. Once the garage warmed up a bit more it was better.
Thanks.

I'ts help if you tell, what's your donnor car?

I remove all miata engine fuse and relay, i keep Ford relay and a VW fuse block. Mutch simple that way.

For the fan i keep the 2 miata fan with a big resistor for the low speed.
