Wire Harness hole
Yay, snow day up here today. Roads closed, most places are closed. I get to tinker today.
On the agenda is more engine bay stuff. First up is the hole for the Ford wiring harness. I don't have AC and the car has a couple filler grommets where the AC holes are. I was about to make the first cut for the hole and I thought, why not use the existing AC holes. There seems to be no downside that I can see to just carving out those holes since they won't ever be used for anything. It will bring the harness about 2 inches closer to the engine, but from studying pics, it looks to still be plenty of space. What do you guys think? |
Snow day where the heck are you Brad? We had 6 inches Monday but no one is smart enough round here to stay home...:)

I'm near Grand Bend in SW Ontario. Crazy cold and blustery today.
Talked to Martin about the hole. He'd never done one that way but thought it was a good idea. I did it and it looks like it will work. Got some work done with the rad mounting too. Now off to a Chinese Hot Pot dinner. perfect day for that. |
