Positive Battery Cable question

Hey all! I know that this question will be fairly year specific but can someone in very dumbed down terms tell me the routing of the positive battery cable on an NA miata? ie does it branch off anywhere other than the starter?

The other semi related question is how does the main power distribution block get power? I assume its the White and white/red wire in the 3 pin plug that goes into the distribution block, does that connect to the battery cable directly?

Any help is much appreciated! I'm slowly getting better at reading wiring diagrams but I understand real life descriptions better and the PO hacked the harness up really good..

Thanks!
Alex

The battery cable goes from the battery to the starter, then branches to the alternator. Then from the alternator to the main fuse box.

Awesome thanks for the quick response! Any particular reason why I shouldn't run a new battery cable through the cabin?

OK so digging through lots of wiring diagrams I understanding that the big white wire goes from the alternator into the main fuse block at the 80A main fuse and the black wire runs from the starter (bat 12) to the 80A main fuse.

Sooooo is there any reason I shouldn't jump these two wires together and attach them to the ford distribution block/starter solenoid to power the main fuse block?
