Good Company to Deal With

I believe I have mentioned this company before. They are not a sponsor, so I can't post their web address, but they're easy to find.

DIY Auto Tune

I purchased a few things from them over the years. Not a big spender, but my first choice for the products they make and sell. Mostly Megasquirt stuff. But other good EFI and electrical stuff, too. They're not just a seller, they're a developer and builder.

So, a few weeks ago, I ordered some new coils for the Roadster. I placed the order in the morning, and they were shipped out via USPS within a few hours. That's impressive.

Unfortunately, they never arrived here. The post office says they dropped them on the porch, but we never saw them. In all the years I'v been building cars, I'v never lost a package off my porch. Granted, this could be the first. The package was insured, but since they say it was delivered, the insurance is useless. Tough luck for me.

I contacted DIY Auto Tune and asked them to ship it to me again, and use the same billing information. The parts arrived just a couple of days later.

Here's the good part. They sold me the parts at cost, and they payed for shipping!

Something they had no control over, and was clearly not their fault. But they bent over backwards to help me out anyway. That's a good company!

DIY Auto Tune. Google them. ;)

That really sucks that an insured package that you never had physical possession of was not covered. I never use USPS anymore. Just another reason to support that decision. Good on the vendor for stepping up to soften the blow.

They were at the mitty and I was hoping to talk to them but never say anyone in their booth / trailer when I was there.
