Constant and switched power-engine bay

Is there a preferred location to pick up constant and switched power in the engine bay of an NA?

Thanks for any pointers....

Joe

Go to Flyin Miata and download their installation instructions.
They have a specific section on tying into the various wiring connections.
It seems to be correct as I used their instructions and it works great for mine.

Thanks for the tip! I just ran the constant power source all the way back to the battery but am still looking for a preferred location to pick up switched power in the engine bay. I'll check out FM....thanks again,

Joe

Use any white/red keyed hot wire to throw a relay that sends power from your constant hot source. Using a relay eliminates the danger of overloading the original wiring. A good constant hot source is the M6 bolt on the main fuse in the fuse box.
