a/c wiring,ford harness

i am having problems, wiring up,the a/c,where do you jumper it under the dash and the mazda wire to the clutch,is a single wire, where the ford has two wires,to the plug.

One of the two ford wires is just a ground. Splice the Miata AC clutch wire to one of the Ford pigtail wires and the other to a ground source.

Under the dash all you need to do (if your car is a 1990-93) is find the wire that comes from the console for AC to the ECU and splice it to the wire that went from the ECU to the AC system. This one splice will cycle the ac clutch and turn on the cooling fans when the ac buton is depressed and the fan is set on 1 or higher.

If you have a 1994 and up miata their are two splices that ned to be made as the original ecu controled the ac fan. It's still incredably easy.

There's a picture of the 1990-93 splice on my AC hose page of my site:

Ac wiring

Would the same situation apply to a carbureted 5.0 swap?

Just the info I needed. Saves me from having to dig through Ford and Mazda wiring diagrams.

So, in looking at the diagrams, for my 96 I will need to splice the lt grn/blk (coming from the press switch) to both the blu/white (cond fan relay trigger) and blu/blk (clutch trigger). Sound correct?
