A couple things I did not mention in the blog post above is the rubber mount in the photo is a stock 2002 Camaro mount. The prior gen mounts 94 to 97 are much cheaper and about the same size so when I bought a new one for final assembly that is what I went with. The total cost for the entire assembly was under 20 bucks including paint and welding wire.
