Garage Changes

Getting ready for the real work to begin.

The house was built with a standard garage door and electric opener. If I had thought of it, I would have had a 12' door installed from the beginning.

So I had the folks at Overhead door come over and raise the door.

While they were at it, I had them install some insulation. Some day - in my copious free time - I'll insulate the rest of the garage.

Once that was done, time to install the lift.

I went with a lift, because I'm not selling the Cobra. And I couldn't really afford a second garage. So I can build one car on top of the other. During racing season, I'll have to shuffle things around to get work done. The transition will be annoying, but doable.

I chose Danmar because I needed the narrowest lift I could get. The Exocet/Miata is not a very wide or long car, so it doesn't need to be much.
