Emissions in Denver

I live near Denver and will need my LS-swapped Miata to pass Aircare Colorado. Has anyone done an LS-swap in the Denver area and passed emissions?

Anyone??
Also, has anyone adapted the entire LS evaporative system to an NB?

Have you called Flyin Miata?
They are in Colorado.
I know it is not Denver but at least the state is right.

Thanks for the tip. I haven't talked to them about this - yet. I'm sure I'll be on a first-name basis with them as the project goes on.

Hi,

As a suggestion can you not utilize the NB Miata evaporative canister and solenoid and have the LS ECU trigger the existing Miata purge solenoid? That way you can retain the factory setup and all it needs is the ECU to provide ground for the solenoid and supply a switched +12V to the solenoid. Then you simply use a vacuum source on the manifold for the existing NB vacuum line.

I did this exact setup on my NB with a Ford EECV ECU, I assume the GM ECU would do the same..It worked a treat and looks factory

Cheers

Thanks, that makes sense. I'll take a look at the wiring diagrams and see if that will work.
