Default V-8 Miata 1/4 mile "shake-down" pass

This is actually the car that I have now. It was built for the 2003 GrassRoots Motorsports Challenge which it ended up winning. This was a "shake-down" run early on after the build.

What transmission and tire are you using?

What was the 60' time?

Nice shakedown pass !

The car has a T-5 and I have no idea what tire they were running back then.

The car now has AFR165 aluminum heads, 15x9 wheels with 275/35-15 Hoosiers, better suspension(Koni's) and exhaust.

The car was set up for trackdays not drag racing, so I'm sure the 60' times suffer as the suspension does not allow it to leave very well.

It's a much better car now than it was then and when I get time to work on it, it will be even better.
