Need A Video Thread

Does anyone have any good videos they could post up of them and their cars? I have seen almost every V8 Miata video on the web and most of them aren't that good. As a group of enthusiast, we need to represent our passion with more than just pictures. You need to be able to feel and hear the power of what these cars are truly capable of.

Lets see what you got.

Apparently, what we got is spam. Don't you hate when that happens? I know I do.

I'd certainly post videos of my V8M if I had one. People would get sick of seeing them! :)

Here's a few in-car's of mine:

The down side of having a well-balanced car is the track videos get sort of boring.
I also could not turn around in my track seat with my helmet and belts on so you get to see the whole process of me turning on the camera, putting on my helmet, sitting there waiting to run, etc. On the bright side, anyone who wondered what I look like will not know...

Next season I'm planning on mounting the camera in a different place every time I go out and then editing the videos all together.

Thought I'd post my recent track video here w/ my V8 Miata as well:

Here's the one I made up of another run. I'm not sure if I posted this one here yet.

The GoPro does a much nicer job than the old flip camera I used to use.

Auto X videos might be fun since everything happens so fast and the runs are so much shorter. So here ya go! (The is a little ruff being straight from the camera with no enhancements to the speed or audio and obviously no image stabilization either...)

Finally got a little better audio w/ my GoPro by using a couple external mics. Here's a short video: V8 Miata drive off on Vimeo

Dam that thing sounds wicked! I sure would like to hear another 15 seconds of it idling. :smilie_daumenpos: I do love the sound of the Fords and yours is a great build for sure!

Don't suppose we could trouble you to put together a little build thead so we can see it up close?

Someday I need to put together a build thread, but for now I have a fair amount of the build on my old website. Here's a link: V8 Conversion There are a few more videos embedded in the page.

Here are a few more for the video thread:
V8 Miata: Country road summertime fun
V8 Miata: Spring is here
V8 Miata: First dragstrip run w/ V8
V8 Miata: First autocross w/ V8

Lee,
Love the videos. Great shots and "Country Road Summertime Fun" has fantastic views from the air. Great soundtrack as well. Your videos are some of the best I have seen. Great job on both the car and the video acumen.

Thanks Chuck!
