My NA has a Boss Frog subframe with LS1. The right header broke right off at the collector just before my latest trackday . It was welded back together but I no longer trust it and want to install new headers. However, fit is really tight between the starter and the engine mount on the Boss Frog subframe.
Questions:
1. What headers do you suggest for this engine subframe combination?
2. While the Boss Frog subframe may differ a little from others I assume clearances are similar. Do you agree?
3. The V8 Roadsters headers look great but large. How is the fit?
4. I managed to reinstall the header without moving the engine or subframe by moving the suspension away but doubt this will work with larger headers. Do you recommend lifting engine or lowering subframe to replace headers, or can it be done with the engine in place?
