Will I like it?
I doubt anyone would go back to a turbo from a V8. There's just much more easy power potential so many of the turbo guys don't want to deal with various issues with running a high power turbo car. Factory 350+ whp and gobs of torque on the factory ECU using factory sensors and a facdtory wiring harness. And a 6 speed trans (with an LSX swap) that can easily handle the power plus a nice 30 mpg are hard to beat.
It usually comes down to cost. Every starts with an X budget and ends up spending 2X.

The turbo miatas are fast, no doubt about that. In the hands of a good driver, they can turn in some very fast lap times.
The problem is reliability. Trying to keep a turbo 4 alive week end after week end is no easy task.
An LS6, OTOH, will easily make 400rwhp, lap after lap, and they never break. Reliable as the day is long. You can't win if you can't finish. You can't enjoy the ride ion the mountains if it ends on a flat bed.
