Difference in NA and NB cooling

Once again I have found a deal on some parts for my swap. What I have found is a brand new Flyin Miata cooling kit(radiator, fans, wiring, hoses, etc.) but it is built for the early NA. I know there are some differences between the kits but can anyone tell me exactly what that is? More importantly, can that kit be made to work on a NB? I can get the kit for $400 to my door so I am really wanting to pick it up if it will work for me. This obviously is for an LS1 swap.

Thanks

From the research I have done it is just mounting tabs and locations between the radiators. I'm pretty sure the size and everything else is the same. But even if not at that price you can do a heck of a lot of rework to it!

Yeah Jim thats what I am thinking. Most other radiators I had in mind where in the 300 range by themselves, then all the other parts that are not included, then some sure fire massaging to get them to fit. I'm gonna snag it and worst case sell it later.

So I just talked to Brandon at FM, heres some knowledge for anyone that might come across this in the future.

All NA/NB FM V8 cooling kits have the same radiator, fans, shroud, hoses, etc. The later NA's kit is basically going to be the baseline. From it, the early NA cars need a little more wiring to get the fans to work correctly, but they mount the same way as the later NA's. In this case, since I bought the early NA kit used, I can just discard the excess wiring and run with it. The NB kits wire the same as the later NA kit, the only difference is that there are two additional 1/4" spacers that go on the bottom of the fan mounts. So in a nutshell, if anyone ever comes across a deal like I have, buy it, very easy to make work for your application. I'd say the hardest scenario would be buying one meant for a new car, and getting it wired to an older NA.
