will a C6 T56 MZ6 work with LS swap?

I found one with 45000 miles for $800. I need to know asap if this will work. Seller is standing by.

I know the vette uses a prop shaft and a ps housing. Can this easily and cheaply be converted to work like a standard LS/T56 combo?

The rear mounted transaxle won't fit in a Miata. Some of the internals from the trans may possibly work in a conventional T56 like from a Camaro, but it would be a lot of work.
