Default Rear hubs

I pressed new bearings into the rear uprights like I have done several times when I was racing Spec Miata. After putting them back on the car I hauled the car to the fab shop for the tunnel work without putting axles in. Now that I have the car back in the air the rear hubs have some play. Is it likely I did any damage, or will it be OK once I have the axle nuts torqued down?

Typically speaking, the axles are used to support the bearings as they tighten the bearing down. We have killed wheel bearings in as little as pushing cars around the shop. We now have a blank we install whenever we remove axles- mostly fwd stuff in the shop- so we can move the car around without the engine or trans in the car.

Thanks. Since then I found out that the hubs from V8R have a larger spline bore than stock (makes sense). I had stock hubs pressed in when I posted this so they had to be changed anyway.
