Axle boot clearance with coilover

Hey guys, I tried searching for this but didn't find anything. I installed a V8Roadsters rear stage 1 getrag diff and axles and now my coilover locking nut is dangerously close to the boot. If I spin it just right I can line it up so the boot goes in between two of the tabs on the lock nut but it is very close, like within 2mm. I'm just wondering how close is too close? I wanted to upgrade my coilovers to something else anyway later but this has got me thinking I now need to only consider those where the ride height is only adjustable by the spring perch. Has anybody else encountered this? What did you do to correct it? Thanks!

Yup, common problem. You need to swap over to an Audi boot. Here's some more information about that. Axle Boots ? Racing the Exocet

Interesting. You'd think if it was such a common problem they would just start shipping the axles with this boot standard... In any case I just placed an order for a pair of those boots. Thanks for your help!
