Got the car back. Having some issue with the front bumper developing stress cracks. Body guy is looking into some creative solutions but we may end up scrapping it. Really disappointing b/c I really like the way this one looks.

On the brighter side I had him cut the rear bumper to expose the exhuast. I'm really happy with how it came out. Just did a quick polish for now, but will spend some buffing time later to really shine it up. (cross posting in the show your tips thread)

Default Mod of the day

New (to me) steering wheel. Momo with Daikei Boss Hub Kit and Daikei Race Horn Button. I'm not sure I'm sold on the horn button. I have a normal button to swap in if I decide its not for me.

Love the wheel but you are right that horn button seems a bit out of place with it. Is that cruise control in the switch panel below the left vent?

That's where I put mine too. It's a tad odd running it with your left hand but about the best option I could come up with.

It was in the car prior to V8 conversion. I assumed it was oem/stock location.

It looks like it needs to be reconnected to a nitrous system...

Ya'll old fogies just don't get the whole JDM thing. It was ordered "straight from Japan" (F&F reference)

It looks identical to a Ford trunk release button from the 1980's.

Not quite ready to put this in the classifieds yet...but my toy A.D.D is getting the better of me so thinking about listing the Miata. It'll be listed in the price range of other FM built LS3 cars, so if you come across someone looking specifically for a "factory built" conversion send them my way. I'm in no hurry....until the right replacement becomes available and I start hear those......"so you NEED two Jeeps and NEED two sports cars?!?!?!" questions from the 6 unit. She's understanding of my addictions....but there are limits.
