I have long thought it would be good to have more post conversion topics here. Just thinking out loud:

Adding style / usage type topics under the fun tab like
- Best drives, road trips and events.
- Performance driving: Track, Drag, Autocross, etc
- Street racing and kill stories. Yeah I know it's not legal but we've all done it so...

Under the shop talk tab adding:
- Conversion FAQ. (how much, how long, how hard, what's the best etc)
- Interior mods tips and questions (seats, steering wheels, shift knobs, audio, electronics etc)
- Exterior mods tips and questions (paint, aero, flares, style etc)
- Shop and tool talk: (garage, tools, man caves etc)
- Miata related non Miata build stuff (exocet, catfish, westfield etc)
- Advanced engineering and fabrication tech. (a place for guys like sunshine and bob to kick around highly technical performance engineering, design, and theory)

Thoughts?

I like all those ideas.

Non Miata related hobbies...aka...what else are you into when not wrenching or driving your Miata.

I was thinking maybe change BS to Anything Goes (Movie reviews, Jokes, Sim racing, Favorite anything or Rant over anything, etc)

Made a bunch of changes to the forums based on Charchri4's suggestions. If you're missing any posts or I just did a horrible job and you want to rage, let me know.

Horrible job? Not even and I can't believe you got all that done so fast! It looks great and I really appreciate all your hard work on it!

2 questions:
I'm not a big fan of having the introductions buried so far down in the off topic area because it is an important topic for building community here. Did you feel that was a better place than Getting started or V8 Miata Life by the build threads?

Did you pass over this or just not get to it yet?
- Interior mods, tips and questions (seats, steering wheels, shift knobs, audio, electronics etc)
- Exterior mods, tips and questions (paint, aero, flares, style etc)
- DIY how to instructions. (Not for build threads but specific how to info like your Megasquirt thread)
- Shop and tool talk: (garage, tools, best deals on equipment..., etc)
- V8 Miata related non Miata build stuff (exocet, catfish, westfield etc)

A couple of thoughts in the fun department. Would it be too much to let the guys have avatars without paying since we put up with carID now?

Speaking of useful sponsors anyone at IB ever reach out to Shandelle at V8R about sponsoring V8miata.net? It seems rather odd they sponsor clubroadster and mazdaroadster which have nearly no V8 traffic but all the cool V8 guys hang out here and they are not on the site at all...
