Cool IMG tag not working

Not sure what has changed but I can no longer use the IMG tag when posting my own PICS from my own URL. I host my own pics on my own webserver so I can avoid the photobucket blues, LOL. I have no interest in uploading my pictures to V8Miata's server so I can loose ownership. I can still link the Pic as an URL addy but then it forces the viewer to exit v8miata's webpage to view. Somewhat inconvenient for the casual surfer. I have tried to manually edit the IMG tag into the WEBGUI provided but it just seems to insist on tagging and altering my URL address. Not sure what I am doing wrong but I will mess with it a bit more, hate to leave this great site so I can finish up my pic posting and details.
Can link to pic but not rename the link addy.

Can't seem to do it the old way, possible syntax error? been a while since I had to think this hard, lol

You can either click the image button and paste the IMG URL, or you can type the code like [img ]IMGURL.jpg[/img ] without the spaces in the brackets. If you click quote on my post, you'll be able to see the code used below.

Cool test

link to my URL test

acedeuce802, you da man

I got it, not sure why I made it so hard for myself, LOL... I do understand HTML since the notepad editing days, just a bit rusty, WYSIWYG editors are to blame, lol. Thanks for the help, didn't close the img tag with previous attempts besides the overdone attempt I finally settled with, always learning.

Thanks again

Ive always used img tags. They no longer work. It turns the link into a clickable hyperlink as soon as I paste it and the img tags show up in the post.

Ive also noticed other issued that when I use the arrow buttons to move the cursor, the screen scrolls to the bottom. Same with backspace. I havent tried this on a computer though. This is on my iPad Pro with a Bluetooth keyboard and my iPhone. Both running Chrome for iOS.

Thats what my images do. I was able to post them like that less than a week ago.
