I'll chime in here. Fbody version is too long. Corvette($$$) or the 6.0 Silverado one($) just squeezes in there.

I followed the same guidelines but did not need the full 2" widening on the driver side. IIRC it was about an inch and even then the trans easily clears that side.

And use this Motorcraft SW5857...

Thanks guys, I also read about this issue prior to mounting the diff in the cradle and made sure to use the largest bolt I could fit thru the rear cover. Maybe I need knurled ones like Flava says?

The exhaust build went fairly well considering it was my first one. I ended up using 98% of the bends in the U-fit kit and have about 30 feet of straight sections...

She's alive! Cranked up on the first try and besides a loose fuel connection everything went smooth. I just have to tidy up the harness in the engine bay and secure the fuel line and main power line...
