Sanderson Miata LSx Engine Swap Headers
7 Attachment(s)
Hi All,
I purchased these new from Sanderson for my LS3 Miata build. Here they are on Sanderson's website The website lists the primary tubing diameter as 1-1/2". When I spoke to them, they mentioned that they could make them in 1-5/8" also, which I opted for. I also had them ceramic coated by Sanderson. I ended using the FM headers instead. I only used these for test fitting, but did have to dent the two driver's side primary pipes for steering shaft clearance, as seen in the picture below. $360 shipped to the lower 48 U.S. States including paypal fees. Thanks, -Tom https://www.v8miata.net/attachment.p...ine=1441384933 https://www.v8miata.net/attachment.p...ine=1441384933 https://www.v8miata.net/attachment.p...ine=1441384933 https://www.v8miata.net/attachment.p...ine=1441384933 |
Do you have a shot of how that drivers side fit in the car Tom?

I'm afraid I don't. I've got lots of pics of them on the engine while it was on the stand and such, but no really good shots of how the driver's side fit. Let me know if you need any measurements or anything if that would help. -Tom |
I've got the 1 1/2 versions in mine and pretty much know but was just wondering how the flanges fit and if I could see the difference in the tubes. I believe yours are routed slightly tighter to the block than mine and fit better.
I'd love to move up and this is a really nice low buck option for someone for someone wanting the larger primaries. |
