Turns out I dont need these, new, never installed tuckin99 flares. Normally $1000 asking $700 shipped/picked up.

I don't know anything about these but why are they so expensive?! Just wondering, not meant as anything else

I work in the boating industry and wonder the same. It is pretty easy to spray a bit of gellcoat and lay down some chop / mat and turn on the vacuum pump. Alas companies think there is some big expensive secret for building 4 molds and laying a bit of glass. Once I built the mold it might take an hr. to make a set of four.

2 days to build plugs / molds at $400 day, (shop rate) = $800
1 hr to make four flares, $50
supplies , $50 for four.
Total $900 CAD or $710 US - that's for 1 set
10 sets would be $900 + $900 = $1800 / 10 would be $180 CAD, $140 US ea. set.

Looks like somebody wants to pay for their time with one sale, lol.
