LS Miata project for sale!
Attempting to sell car again due to my dad selling his shop. I no longer have anywhere to build it and sadly life has gotten too busy to invest more into finishing it over the years. Hoping it goes to a great home!
*Complete rolling chassis, interior, and Boss Frog Venom Kit. *2000 with only 130K miles on chassis. *Clean title *Zero Rust *Professionally Painted *Professional welding for swap including cutting bay tabs and seem welding the entire shell/bay/door seems. *BRAND NEW Boss Frog Venom Kit *500HP rated custom Ford 8.8-to-miata hub broached rear axles from Driveshaft Shop. *Black original Interior in GREAT shape *Rebuilt Hubs *Professional grade heat resistance paint and Rustoleum bed liner inside and under the entire chassis. *Professionally welded steering rod length (+2.5inches) for Frog kit. *Boss Frog Stainless Steel Rack kit with NA rack swapped in (not pictured). *Original wire harness and computer in great shape. *A host of original parts from the car that didn't sell will be included in the sale. There is easily 8-10K worth of labor, after-market parts, and materials in this car already and it's pretty much ready for a swap. ALL work was performed by my master mechanic father and I except the paint job and welding. Link to project photos: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/a21agmxw6...OuLWKBCIa?dl=0 Car is located in Brigham City, UT but I live in Salt Lake City, UT. Can you break this down?
Complete stock rolling/steerable chassis in perfect condition - 800 Full BF kit - 3600 ALL Paint mats and labor - 2000 Hub rebuild and labor - 200 Fabrication labor/materials - 1800 This doesn't even factor the time it took the tear the car down and throw the kit in it. So I'm in it at least around 8-9K. I'm willing to sell this for MUCH less. I'll still waiting for some PM'ed offers. |

$1,800 in labor to cut out the required factory braces in the engine compartment, fabricate four small triangular patches, then weld them in?

**UPDATE**
I need to sell this ASAP! I am selling it for 4500 FIRM ONLY to the V8 Miata crew! First come first serve. No matter how much you break down what's been put into this starter project it is worth WAY more. Anyone who knows the time and resources to prep a Miata for a swap will know this. If it doesn't sell for this price quickly I'll be shocked and I guess I'll just finish it down the road. Unfortunately I'm just very busy and I don't have the time to negotiate the sale. |
Pictures? This does seem like a pretty good deal to me, especially for someone considering this swap that does not have a welder or access to one. This essentially gives someone the option do a 100% bolt on swap

Here are my Dropbox photos of the project for everyone. I'll try and update the original post now that the eBay link is gone. The only photo I wasn't able to get I'd of the rear end kit installed.
