A while ago you posted that you had replaced your starter with ACDELCO #88878289 that was about 3/4' shorter than the
F-body starter in order to gain some separation from the header. Now that you have been using it in the warmer weather,
have you had any heat soak problems? I'm using
ACDELCO #12617229 and am having increasing difficulty with the starter locking up when it's hot, despite having wrapped the collector. I have less than 1/4' between the header collector pipe and the end cap of the starter.
On another note, I believe I bought a GETRAG diff from you 4ish years ago. It's in the car and working pretty well. I'll probably pull it this winter to have the backlash adjusted and will probably do bearings and seals at the same time, just because it's open. It was good to meet you and it's very cool to see your car is driving.
