Runt of the FM Litter

Allow me to be introducing myself...Ambled across the mt.net tonight & found a link to "v8miata.net" and thought to myself "Hmmmm, this must be new. Let's see if this is as as interesting as mt.net."

As FM builds go, I am the guy that told his crack dealer that "I don't need any more crack." AFIAK, I got the last LS2 motor that Bill C could get. I liken it to one of the earlier 289 Cobras. So far it's a lot faster than I am.

Here's the dyno after a local fella did the tuning with HPTuner. Not bad for the "Runt of the litter", eh?

No vidis as I don't have anything other than a still camera, yet. Gotta wait to see if I was the star of a traffic speed camera a week ago. If no ticket shows up in the mail, then I think I'll take a buddy up on one of those HD GO-Pro cameras.

Let me see what I can do to put up some snaps in an album. As far as appearance, it doesn't look much different as when it was Ubercharged & then FMII GT3071R.

cmon dude... you can afford all these fun toys for your miata and you cant spend $100 on a decent camera?

do you track your car?

All the extra cash is going into paying back SWMBO* for the privilege of letting FM put in the V8. The camera I have doesn't do video very well at all and I have no other need for a camera that shoots movies.
I have been to the track in the cars earlier N/A, Ubercharged & FMII versions, but not in the LS2, yet. I had a little problem with nerve impingement that rendered my left arm too weak for me to feel safe at the track. Come to think of it, it's the main reason I haven't really stressed the car on public roads, either! I'm doing pretty well post operatively, but building strength back is slow going. I'm putting together some pics that will effectively show off the car.
