Rookie to this

Just getting started. I have a 90 NA and 99 ls1 from a SS Camaro complete drop with T56/6 speed. With wiring and ecu all from same car. This wiring thing is the only thing that has me worried. No clue?? Any suggestions on where and how to start

No reason to be worried. Take it from me, I was worried for a long time about wiring. The fact of the matter is that the GM LS engine is popular for swaps for many reasons, one of which being wiring. As long as you give the computer power, its basically ready to run no matter what car it is in.

But back to your question, what do you mean where to start? You should probably drain the fluids and disconnect the battery from the miata to start!! :)

As stng said, as long as the LS1 wiring harness goes to the PCM at the correct pins, and the PCM gets it's power and ground, the engine will run. Flyin' Miata has a good guide to instruct how to control the gauges and such off the LS1 PCM: https://www.flyinmiata.com/support/i...structions.pdf

Sorry got all of that done. Front end stripped and ready to pull old motor. Just waiting on kits from BF and had some time to think about the wiring and let it bug me out. Going to use the 8.8 out of theThunderbird. Any options for axles. I would like to find something that won't break the bank? The ones from the drive shaft shop are a bit steep if you know what I mean. By the way thanks for the encouragement on the wiring.

You should start a build thread with plenty of pictures, we like pictures around here. Have you read through any other build threads? A lot of answers you need are there, plus some much needed tastes of reality(I needed those more).
