Pipe Dreams

I'm Corey. I have a '94 Turbo. I want a V8 NB.

I just got a job as an engineer, so sometime this winter I want to try to buy a nice NB, then start saving up for the swap. I haven't done any real research yet so I don't have any kind of budget, but I plan to find the money to do this properly.

Goals for my project:

NB (preferably '01+)
Aluminum GM V8
at least 300whp, with room for more without going FI
Amazing noise
Autocross handling

Eddlebrock has a carb, intake, distributor gear, and msd, total kit now for the LS1. I don't now how much though.

No. Does the LS1 still use a distributor?

Not sure if they did in any stock configuration, but it's doable: http://www.chevyhiperformance.com/te...ase/index.html

Disclaimer: I don't condone putting carburetors on anything more advanced than a chainsaw. And even then only if there is absolutely no space to mount a MegaSquirt on one.

Yeah I do not know why anyone in their right mind would remove electronic (tunable stock ecu) port fuel injection and a solid-state dedicated ignition coil setup for a distributor and a carburetor. That would be a serious downgrade.

LOL....I was thinking "Fuel injection" not "forced induction". I was like if you like that Dog and Pony show....Here it is. LOL

Power Block showed the kit. They had some extra goodies and made like 600hp.
For people who don't like all the wiring and sensors.

But I'm sure it probably isn't cheap, and sucks gas.

wiring and sensors ftw! im going to redo wiring in my miata entirely :)

I see your logic there. I hate acronyms, and I should really try to stop using them. Especially the ones that have more than one meaning in the same location. (NA, FI...)
