Default Not my first rodeo

Hello to everyone! Thought i would join up to this forum after lurking a bit. A quick history on me:

My first "car" build (i'd done 4x4's prior) was a POS mazda Rx7. In hindsight i should have bought a cleaner car, but i was cheap back then due to college.

Installed an LS1/4L60E

I learned plenty on the trip with that car. What to do right, what to do wrong...etc.

I moved onto a much better platform. A 93 Mazda FD. Bought it not running, threw a $20 sensor in it and it ran OK. I was not about to throw away money trying to mod a rotary , so it was back to what i knew best. This time, with 6 gears on manual goodness.

I've got a 2002 miata that we've been driving/enjoying for the last few months. We bought it with the intention to eventually make it ridiculous. I'm starting to feel that time coming. So hopefully soon there will be more updates as i acquire parts.

Welcome. Looks like you wouldn't have any problem at all with the Miata. Whereabouts are you located?

Ftrst of all, welcome. I don't get over to the Intro's section very often, but glad I did this AM. Secondly, your so-called POS RX7 looked way to nice to be referred to as a piece... Thirdly, your FD is just plain delicious, and 4thly - what appears to be some thoughtful, hi-res photography, just smokes the rest of us in that department too! I think we have a lunatic or a professional amongst us - or both..?

Please share a Miata build thread here with the rest of us nuts...
