Smile New to you

Hello I am new to the V8 Miata but not new to the V8. I have been playing with V8'S since 1978. I am an old school SBC quadrajet equipped no electronics keep it simple hotrodder. I respect the new LS and MODULAR computer controlled power plants but my heart belongs to a iron v8 with a Carburetor.

Hey welcome to the forum! You and I must be about the same age as I built my first Mustang in 78. (a 65 fastback) I understand what you are saying and get it for sure but came to realize there is a good reason they don't make them like they used to... None the less it is certainly less complicated to carb them and plenty of folks do. You lookin to build a v8 Miata?

My first Mustang was a 1984 so from my perspective they make them much better than they used to

Welcome!
