I've come to learn...
My 92 Sunburst with a 1.8 and a MP62 is forever being worked on. The MegaSquirt 2 is forever needing adjustments. And under the hood is cramped & messy.
I've seen a few Miata with LS engines and it looks like it can be done to look (almost) stock, and be as reliable as a factory car. I'd love to see a shopping list of what's needed (for an NA), and start getting some ideas on what all's involved. Maybe, just maybe I'll jump on the bandwagon & double my cylinders. I don't think I'm interested in one of those monster 5 or 600HP cars. If I hit 300 (well, maybe 350) that would be way more than I'd expect to use. Without further chatter.. I'm going browsing in the forum. :-) |

The forum filter will not let me put in s p r e a d in place of the dashes in my link so
1) open my link 2) replace the dashes in my link with the word above minus the spaces That is not my build cost but a local friend (GoKart on m.net). You can cut corners if you can source a cheaper motor/trans or fab your won mounting. |
Thanks.. the PM didn't work, but your explanation above did.
For future reference here's a link that will work.. courtesy of tinyurl.com http://tinyurl.com/LS2-Swap-Costs |
