Hi from Louisiana. I am helping a buddy build a v8 1991 Miata. He is using a crate 340 HP Ford Racing 302 with a GT40 tubular intake and a Ford Racing T-5Z. Rear to be used is a Lincoln Mark VIII aluminum center section with traction lock out of a iron case IRS Tbird 8.8. Rear axle shafts are 929 Mazda driver's side with 1986 RX7 hubs modified to fit the Miata uprights. Car will be 5 lug all around. Wheels are RX7 convertible BBS wheels. No kit is being used, all fabricated, mostly in my backyard shop. Current status is massive mods to kmember complete, engine mounts and tranny mount built and engine and trans currently temp installed. Lot's left to do, will start posting pics soon. I myself am a confirmed car nut, prefer Fords but like tham all.
