Hello from "across the pond!"

Hi all,

As you may have guessed, I'm from a small town in England. I have a '92 NA6 Auto imported from Japan. There was 41,000 miles on it when bought, no rust and cost me less than $800 :)

My original intention was to put a Nissan SR20DET or CA18DET in, but after helping out with a friends Honda S2000 putting a S.charged LS2 in, I took the v8 route too. I have an LS1 to go in with a T56 box.

Other toys include a Nissan Stagea RS4 which is now RWD and manual, and a Mazdaspeed3 which is now AWD which I'm aiming for 700bhp with

Welcome. Sounds like some fun toys you have there.

Oh my 700 hp in a 3 is a heck of kick in the pants! I thought the LS was few and far between over there?

Welcome to V8 net I'm looking forward to your build!!

Cheers guys!

There are a few LS engines available in the UK, I got a very good contact who normally breaks VXR8's so it wasn't too bad tracking one down. Apparently there are a few LS Miatas knocking about in the UK, but I haven't seen one in person yet.

I'll be doing the fabrication for this with a friend of mine (who owns the a fore mentioned S2000) so it might not look pretty, but it will work. I think I prefer homegrown builds when I have the time :)
