Eclipse vent mod

2 Attachment(s)
Like everyone else, I am sick of these eyeball vents. Even though I may be selling it soon, I finally installed these Eclipse vents I have had sitting on my shelf for months. Fit is good. I could flush them if I wanted by removing some material from the outer ring, but this looks fine for me.

Very nice write up. I also used the fbody compressor on my ls1 99 miata. I went thru 2 compressors before I re-wired it to let the computer control the cycling on/off of the compressor. Now it has been in there about a year with no problem. I think that those compressors can't handle high rpm's (which my engine experiences often). The PCM turns the clutch off once the RPM's reach a certain point.

Just ordered all the parts to make this happen....another new venture for me but I think with all your good info it should go smoothly

Oh that is good to know Jackie. I tuned that out of the computer and planned on just letting the Mazda wiring take care of it. If I ever actually get it plumbed and hooked up!

Are running it through the GTO's BCM?

Thanks,
