Welcome!

Looks like a good starting platform, body looks to be in good shape!

Out of curiousity, what is "10mm"? As in the title of your thread?

'94 white NA... I'm tuned in. Body does look good in the pics. Wheels are kinda wild looking!! Please keep posting to the site. Completed project will be worth the efforts.

The most common size nut or bolt on the car is 10 mm so any group of tools I start with will have several tools of that size. I figured it would be a little fun and sort of an inside joke. :skid:

Thanks for the interest.
The engine bay mods are underway. My first time cutting and then welding. Looking forward to the experience but also am a little nervous. :sad2:

Dont be scared! Whats the worst that can happen?! On a build this in depth, nothing is irreparable .

PS. I am SUPER jealous of your quickjacks. :eek5::eek5::eek5:

On the note of 10MM I was in Miami at the annual boat show few years back, (Vector Power Boats), and needed to remove the headers from the pair of 800hp Viper V10's in our race boat. I first went to Teague Marine thinking I could borrow a 10mm allen hex drive and was laughed out of the fair grounds. I was asked if I realized I was in the USA and good luck finding Metric Tools, Really? America is that afraid of Metric? Had to buy a full set of Allen Keys consisting of both a standard set and Metric set as I could not find a tool place that sold metric tools in singles, only standard. Any time I visit the good ole US of A I have to smuggle my metric tools in from Canada in case I have to service any of our engines. Very Lame. Hope obtaining Metric tools is easier now.

^ that's crazy talk! Lol only old timers are that stuck into std stuff. Anyone who actually works on cars is all about metric.

Flavaquero 10-26-2016 08:07 PM

He did say Miami.

Hey now I am one of those old timers, lol. However I have been raised with Metric since 79, took my journeyman's in Metric, but alas the building industry here is in good ole standard, gotta be fluid in both. Happy to hear Miami may have been the problem, LOL I was right down in the South Beach area where tourists are easy to spot, Sun burnt and heading to McD's. No self respecting local Miami'r would eat anything but a salad and lite beer while the sun is still up. Open air clubs, plastic cups on the street and Horse cops were cool, for a Canuck. Party hard till 5am was a bit tough, but a great experience. Biggest thing I remember is when I order a burger they ask how do I want it done, no option in Canada, you get shoe leather well done only, very cool.:thumbsup:

rajesh1214,
