shimming k-member
i am going to install,my modified k-member soon,i wondering if i need to install washers or shims, between the frame and k-member.

It would all depend on if you have any clearance issues. I would think that sub-frame shimming MAY induce bump-steer. I would suggest that you get the car together & "see what you got". You can always add shims if needed. Seems to me me that shimming the engine & transmission would be the best way to go.

I shimed my last one down 3/8ths of an inch and I do get a bit of bump-steer. It's not what I would call "bad" but it is noticable.
