I am building my engine for my Martin conversion kit and the oil pan pickup does not work with Martin's modified oil pan.

Does this take a special pickup?
Does this take a custom made pickup?
What fits?
Does anyone have a part number or source?
Does anyone have pictures of what works?

I use a new stock oil pump screen pick up from NAPA auto parts. worked just fine for me.

 

There are 2 different oil pump pick-ups for the double hump pan. I know that the oil pan part # changed around 1992, & a 1988 pick-up would not work in it.

 

That maybe why he's having trouble and I never had any. I used a pick-up for a ‘93
