How different is the SN95 harness from the Fox when using the Monster Miata kit?

I picked up a great donor car the other day. '94 Mustang GT with 116K on it for $550. Its got some front end and suspension damage, but the engine and everything I need is fine and in tact. The car starts and runs fine, I was able to pull it up on the trailer.

So how much harder is the SN95 to wire into the Miata harness if Im following the directions in the Monster Miata manual? Im pretty sure Ive got a factory wiring manual for the Mustang laying around somewhere from when I had my last '94 GT, so that'll be a huge help.

Seems like all Ill need to do is just find the correct wire colors and use that?

Glad to finally get this project under way. This should be a ton of fun.

Cool!

You can not (for example) swap a Fox EEC with a SN95 EEC without doing some re-pinning of the 60 pin connector (I think). Seems like the injectors are on different pins and maybe some other wires too. But it is easy to do if needed. As far as integrating into the Miata harness, there is not a lot of wires to worry about (key on, key start, etc.) but having a SN95 schematic will be handy for sure. Using that constant control relay module to me makes things a whole lot easier. It powers everything!

Make my swap using a SN95 computer. Not a big deal, but i'm using the ford unit to manage the cooling fan and other stuff.

Yea I definitely plan on using the CCRM to power the fan. I forgot the Fox was a belt fan. I should be able to start tearing into it this weekend.

I found this to be of some value. Can never have too much wiring info.

How different are the 90-93 and 96+ Miata wiring harnesses from the 94-95 ones? I am looking for one around 94-95, but if I find something for a good price, Ill probably jump on it.
