Ford powered 1/4 mile times

I am going to take my 5.0 powered NA to the track in a few weeks to get some base times and see how it stacks up to my friends cars. What kind of quarter mile times might one expect from a close to stock 5.0 Miata?
As you can see from my sig, i am running a gt40 setup.
What are your times and mods?

Wow, good question but hard make a good guess due to the varbials....HP, driver experiance, tires/traction how much wheelhop.

If 300 WHP, good 60'times and good powershifts.....low 12's, any issues with any of the assumptions then 13's (or even 14's).

Driver experience is a huge part of the picture. I'm betting you've been down the track before though so I'm pullin for 12's.

GOOD LUCK! (of course we need video's and time slips)

There was a young fellow here (Brett has since sold his monster) who was running stock size 14" rubber on daisies, stock engine (225hp) first time on a track...high 13's with a lot of potential. He posted the slip on here somewhere. A good runner with decent rubber and experienced driver should be in the 12's no sweat.

DOT drag radials, late on the light and totally missed 3rd gear.
