Alternative to Martin headers.

Is that using Martin's modified subframe? If it is you may just have made the discovery of the last few decades (at least in the Ford V8 Miata world).

I modifie my subframe like martin did, but on both side to make room for the exhaust.

I install it like the LS swap guy's.

how much of the engine cradle did you have to cut out,to make the headers clear

So after you cut that out, you just boxed it in?

 

yes... but you need old style engine mount. the block hugger are realy close to the block.

 

Your talking a 1964-1973 302 mount. And your saying a fox body mount will not work.
