5.0 build help

Car is getting 3.55's with an Eaton posi.

95 5.0 HO

I am pulling the engine to have the pistons notched. At that point, I will re-ring and hone the cyls + all new rod/main bearings. I need help picking a cam and throttle body and intake.

Parts I already have.

GT40x heads (64cc)..I just had them milled to 58cc for cheap compression hence the piston notch.
heads have 700 lift springs AFR guide plates and 1.6 crane roller rockers.

24lbs and CL 73mm

I have two intakes (TFS track heat + 95 Cobra). Car is currently set up with a SN95 intake ect.

I have tall FMS valve covers, will the 95 intake clear it?

Wallbro 255GPH pump

Holley fuel pres regulator

I was thinking about the below cams and TB

Anderson N41
TFS stage 2

Summit 70mm TB

Thanks for the help!

I know that a GT-40 upper intake would not clear the tall Motorsport valve covers on an engine that I built without the use of a 1" manifold spacer.

Agreed. Tall valve covers are not worth lowing the engine an inch to make them fit. Aluminum Mustang ones work well and don't look that bad when cleaned up.
