Jack Reacher
 

A couple years ago, Tom Cruise starred in the movie "Jack Reacher'. Having read the book by Lee Child first I thought that although the movie was good, and cruise played the character well, he was not physically right for the part.
Jack Reacher is supposed to be a 6'5' 250# former Army Major with a no non-sense set of personal rules. Cruise has to rely o low camera angles (ad lifts in his shoes?) just to come up to eye level with most of the rest of the cast...LOL
Other than that, the movie has a great supporting cast including Robert Duvall.
If you enjoyed the flick then I strongly suggest you fire up your Kindle and order the Reacher series. There are now 20 books and it is so critically received that other authors have begun to write spin offs based on minor characters or created new ones I an effort to show a different side of the story.
Personally I have read all 20 Child books and 4 support books in the last 18 months. If the style grabs you then you should enjoy them as well.
